Shvedova Leads Buzz Past Caps

Yaroslava Shvedova anchored the Buzzs 23-20 win over theSacramento Capitals Friday night in Albany. The Russian Shvedovawho has career wins over Ana Ivanovic and Sania Mirza, won allthree of her sets as the Buzz defeated the 2007 World Team Tennischampion Capitals.
The win keeps the Buzz in second place in the Eastern Conference,and within striking distance of the first place NY Sportimes. TheBuzz now head to Philadelphia before returning home Sunday night toface the Sportimes in a crucial conference clash.
The Buzz will also host Anna Kournikova on Tuesday night at CDPHPCourt at the Washington Avenue Armory in Albany.
